Analysing
This photo is taken very close up of the fence so that we are able to see the texture of the fence, this gives an image into the audiences mind about how the fence actually feels, which will be a way to communicate with the audience. Also taking this photo at this angle where you are looking up to the sky gives the audience the impression that they are inferior to the photo as they are having to look up and that the image is more superior. There are also a few compositions included in this photo, for example the two rectangular pieces of wood can act as leading lines so that the audience automatically look up and follow the path of the paths. The piece of the wood at a slant between the two vertical wood can act as a diagonal, which will an 'edge' to the photo and make it look more dramatic which can transform this image altogether. I have also used depth of field in my work, thus when you look at the lower end of the fence, we are able to see the texture and we can imagine what it would feel like therefore it is very much in focus. However as you move up the spectrum the image starts to become blurrier and the texture of the fence merges together with the sky and it is much harder to see. This can help me to show the audience what I want them to concentrate on and to get my message across.
