How light works.
Light is what allows us to see as it creates depth, mood and colours as the word photography it self means drawing with
light. Light allows us too either see the very fine details or keep hidden the parts of the image we want to keep cover
As essentially light is what we can use to play with the picture and manipulate it to become what we want it to be.

1. Exposure - how bright a scene is and how it effects our image.
2. Quality - how focused or diffuse light is.
3. Color - the color of the light in an image.
4. Direction - where is the light coming from?
5. Highlight - the brightest part of the image
6. Shadow - the darkest part of the image.
7. Contrast - The difference between the bright part of an image and the dark part of an image

What is refraction
Refraction is when sound waves and light waves change their speed, when they happen to cross two thing with different density such as air and water or air and glass. This will then cause the waves to bend and change direction called refraction. We now know that that a prism produces a spectrum of colored light from incident white light, a second prism could recombine the colors to create white light again. The individual colors remained constant when shone through a prism again. This was in stark contrast to the consensus that the prism itself produced colors.
