DAVID LACHAPELLE
Flattering the audience is something that a lot of photographers try to adapt into their work so that they are able to visually please their audience and for their audience to enjoy their work this is called flattering the audience. We were given the artist David Lachapelle whose work we found to be disturbing in some places and as a whole really strange. This means that he does not flatter the audience as the images are very harsh and unpleasant to the eye. For example the picture above looks very disturbing for example the devil looks very scary therefore this does not flatter the audience.
